Dobbs Ferry Housing Waitlist

At this time, applications for the Dobbs Ferry campus will be assigned on a space-available basis. While we can still guarantee housing to students applying for housing in our Dorm34 building in Manhattan, applicants for the Dobbs Ferry campus will be waitlisted and notified when space becomes available.

If your application was submitted prior to July 13th, 2026, you will be guaranteed a spot in Housing.

Lets Get Ready to Move In!

Wow, move in is just around the corner and we are so excited to have you come live with us.

Clearance

Make sure you are cleared! This is the most important part of moving into Housing. Contact Student Financial Services at sfs@mercy.edu to make sure you are getting cleared on time and there are no hiccups on move-in day. Once our system has been updated with your clearance status, your final room assignment will post on this page and you can sign up for a move in appointment on this portal.

Can I bring.....?

There is a long list of allowed/not allowed items. It is under Living on Campus/Getting Ready to Dorm. Check this out before we have to take away that super super cool laundry machine you brought to campus.

Where do I go?

We will send more information closer to the time about specific drop of locations, buildings etc. Overall make sure you are going to the right location. (Hudson and Founders are going to Westchester Campus and Dorm34 are going to Manhattan Campus.)

When do I move in?

Continuing Students going to Hudson or Founders Halls will move in on September 1st.
New/Transfer/Study Abroad Students going to Hudson or Founders Halls will move in on August 30th.
All Dorm34 students will move in on August 30th.
**On your first night on campus, there will be a mandatory Hall Meeting. Please plan accordingly. ** ALL students must book a move-in time on the Housing Portal. This will allow us to move students in in a timely and smooth manner.

I am nervous about making friends....?

This is totally normal! Remember lots of people are new and have very similar feelings as you. The Residential Advisors have been working really hard to put activities together to make sure that you can make connections that will last a lifetime. We encourage students to put their phone down, get out of their comfort zone and come to the activity or event. Emmerse yourself fully in campus culture! We will have residential orientation for our new, transfer, study abroad, and new international students August 30th - September 1st

We cannot wait to see you. Your presence on campus will make this year unforgettable!
